O R D E R

The respondent initiated proceedings for divorce against the petitioner in H.M.O.P.NO.4652 of 2014 before the Second Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai. The petitioner is before this Court with a request to transfer the matrimonial proceedings from Chennai to the Subordinate Court at Paramakudi.

2. When the Transfer Petition was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondent submitted that father of the petitioner is an accused in a criminal case and as such, the petitioner is not in favour of transferring the proceedings to the Subordinate Court at Paramakudi.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied in case the matter is transferred to the Family Court at Madurai. The learned counsel for the respondent also agreed for the said suggestion. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. In view of the consensus arrived at among the parties, the Transfer Proceedings in F.C.O.P.No.4652 of 2014 pending on the file of Second Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai, is withdrawn and is transferred to the file of Family Court at Madurai for disposal.

5. The learned Judge, Family Court at Madurai, is requested to dispose of the matrimonial proceedings as expeditiously as possible.

6. The Transfer Petition is allowed with the above observation. No costs. Connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
