This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Inspector of Police, H-2, Guduvancherry Police Station, the 1st respondent/complainant herein not to harass the petitioners.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent-State.

3. On the complaint given by one Balaraman, petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.1429 of 2017 before the first respondent. Under such circumstances, blanket order of 'not to harass' cannot be passed. The petitioners shall co-operate in the enquiry and during the course of enquiry, they shall not https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

be harassed. However, if any cognizable offence is made out, this order would not be a shield against the arrest of the accused.

With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
