Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the internal communication dated 07.05.2009 in Na.Ka.No.DS2/32583/2008 from the 1st respondent to 2nd respondent to quash the same and forbear the respondents from relying on the said communication in deciding the rights of the petitioner in respect of the lease in S.No.679/2 (Part-3) measuring 5.00.0 hectares in Thorapalli Agraharam Village, Hosure Taluk for the period of ten years from 29.05.2008 to 28.05.2018 vide earlier proceedings in ROC. No.77/2008/Mines-2 dated 26.03.2008 and in S.No.697/2 (Part-4) measuring 5.00.0 hectares in Thorapalli Agraharam Village, Hosure Taluk for the period of ten years from 29.05.2008 to 28.05.2018 vide earlier proceedings in ROC. No.

78/2008/Mines-2 dated 29.03.2008 by the 3rd respondent as the same is not in accordance to provisions of the Tamil Nadu Forest Act 1882 and having any legal force. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has given a letter to the Registry dated 01.08.2017 to list the Writ Petition under the caption "for withdrawal". The learned counsel for the petitioner has also enclosed a letter written by the petitioner instructing him to withdraw the Writ Petition. The learned counsel has also made an endorsement to that effect. 2.In view of the same, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
