O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed in Na.Ka.No.5541/AA2/2018(5) dated 21.06.2019 by the first respondent.

It is seen that on the representation submitted by the second respondent, the first respondent cancelled the settlement deed concerned under Section 68(2) of Registration Act. However, now the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court struck down the provisions under Sections 68(2) and 77-A of Registration Act.

In view of the above, the order impugned cannot be sustained and the same is liable to be set aside. Accordingly, the impugned order passed in Na.Ka.No.5541/AA2/2018(5) dated 21.06.2019 by the first respondent, is set aside. Therefore, the second 2/4

respondent is at liberty to approach the civil court for appropriate relief challenging the settlement deed concerned executed in favour of the petitioner in the manner known to law, if so advised. 4.

In the result, this writ petition stands allowed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to cost.
