Respondents PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the internal communication dated 07.05.2009 in Na.Ka.No.DS2/32583/2008 from 1st respondent to 2nd respondent to quash the same and forbear the respondents from relying on the said communication in deciding the rights of the petitioner in respect of the lease in S.No.679/2(part-5) measuring 5.00.0 hectares in Thorapalli Agraharam Village, Hosure Taluk for the period of 10 years from 30.05.2008 to 29.05.2018 vide earlier proceedings in Roc.No.79/2008/Mines-2 dated 29.03.2008 by the 3rd respondent as the same is not in accordance to provisions of the Tamil Nadu Forest Act 1882 and having any legal force.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted a letter dated 02.01.2018 to the Registry, seeking permission of this Court to post the above writ petition for withdrawal.

2. The matter is listed today under the heading for withdrawal. When the matter is taken up today, a similar request is made before this Court and an endorsement has also been made to that effect.

3. In view of the same, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
