This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file final report in Crime No.47 of 2016.

2.The petitioner is A-1 in Crime No.47 of 2016 under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.

3.Today, Mr.V.Padma Kumar, HC 35163, CSCID, Chennai Unit is present before this Court. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate submitted that there are 22 accused in this case and many of them have to be apprehended. 4.In such view of the matter, this Court directs the respondent Police to complete the investigation and either file a Charge Sheet or a Closure Report within six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, provided there is no legal impediment.
