2. This is a batch of eight original petitions. The first respondent has filed an affidavit dated 25.04.2024 to the effect that five out of eight trademarks expire today i.e., 30.04.2024 and the first respondent does not intend to renew the same.

3. As regards the remaining three trademarks, they have been renewed but the first respondent has not put the same to use. This is admitted.

4. Recording the above factual position (per paragraphs 2 to 5 of affidavit dated 25.04.2024), these petitions stand allowed. Let the first respondent make necessary applications for cancellation of the trademarks before the authority within a period of one week from date of receipt of a copy of this order. The authority pass orders on the said applications within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the same. No costs.
