ORDER

The petitioner filed this writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to pass orders on his appeal dated 14.07.2004.

2. The facts of the case is that the petitioner was appointed as a pump operator on 01.05.1989 on a monthly basis of Rs.60/- and he has been continuously working for the past 15 years. All of a sudden, the second respondent instructed the petitioner not to report for duty from 01.07.2004, without any written order. Aggrieved by the said oral order, the petitioner had preferred an appeal before the Block Development Officer, Thirukazhukundram, on 14.07.2004.

3. Though the Block Development Officer, Thirukazhukundram is not added as a party in this case, while exercising the inherent jurisdiction, I am inclined to implead the Block Development Officer, Thirukazhukundram, as the third respondent.

4. Accordingly, this Court directs the newly impleaded third respondent to consider the appeal and pass appropriate orders, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No cost.
