O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) An affidavit has been filed by the Director General of Police stating that on a suo motu review, he is of the view that the delinquency committed by the officer having held to be proved before the enquiry officer, the punishment of censure was not commensurate with the charge of having misbehaved with the Judicial Magistrate and it deserved to be modified especially as there was no mitigating factors. The punishment stands enhanced to postponement of increment for a period of two years without cumulative effect vide proceedings dated 24.10.2015. Learned Government Pleader further submits that the effect of this punishment as per G.O. Ms.No.22, P & AR Dept., dated 24.02.2014, is that the delinquent officer will not be considered for promotion for a period of five years. 2.In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, we are inclined to put a closure to the matter and no further directions are required in this suo motu proceedings.
