ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to file the Final Report in Crime No.164 of 2022, dated 29.05.2022 pending before the respondent in accordance with law within the stipulated time as this Court may deem fit and proper.
2. Heard Mr.S.Sarath Kumar, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.
3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent Police has registered a case in the above said crime number on 29.05.2022, no Final Report is filed till date.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent would submit that the respondent Police may be permitted to file a Final Report within a period of three months.
5. In view of the above, the respondent Police is directed to either file a Final Report or a Closure Report, as the case may be, within a period of 2/4
three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the de-facto complainant.
6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed off.
