[Order of the Court was made by M.SUNDAR, J.] This proceedings has to be read in conjunction with and in continuation of our order dated 27.07.2023 made in captioned 'Habeas Corpus Petition' ['HCP' for the sake of brevity].

2. To be noted, we had sought for a report and directed listing of captioned HCP under the cause list caption 'FOR REPORT' and therefore captioned HCP is listed though it was disposed of on 27.07.2023.

3. Today, there is no representation for HCP petitioner. However, Mr.E.Raj Thilak, learned State Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents (instructed by Tmt.Chandamugi Agestinal, Woman Sub Inspector of Police, R3 Ashok Nagar Police Station) submits that pursuant to our 27.07.2023 order in captioned HCP, absentee was produced before the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

rsi jurisdictional Metropolitan Magistrate (XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai). Statements have been recorded and absentee is now with the HCP petitioner (absentee's father).

4. To be noted, communication dated 28.08.2023 bearing reference Dis.No.1943/2023 from the jurisdictional Metropolitan Magistrate to the Registry of this Court together with statements have been placed before us and the same are taken on file to be part of the case file.
