O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents not to harass the petitioner, by forcing him to deliver the possession of his land to Gowramma.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents-State.

3. Today, Mr.V.Ragunathan, Special Sub-Inspector, Kelamangalam Police Station, Krishnagiri District, is present before this Court.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by one Gopal Reddy, petition enquiry in CSR No.108 of 2018 is pending against the petitioner and on the complaint given by the petitioner, petition enquiry in CSR.No.109 of 2018 is pending against Gopal Reddy. Under such circumstances, blanket order of 'not to harass' cannot be passed. The petitioner shall co-operate in the enquiry and during the course of enquiry, he shall not be harassed. However, if any cognizable offence is made out, this order would not be a shield against the arrest of the accused.

With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
