This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent police not to harass the petitioner as well as their family members.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents-State.

3. Today, Mr.N.Thangadurai, Sub-Inspector of Police, K-8, Arumbakkam Police Station, Chennai-600 106, is present before this Court.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

complaint given by Sekar, petition enquiry in CSR No.330 of 2018 is pending against the petitioner and on the complaint given by the petitioner, petition enquiry in CSR.No.331 of 2018 is pending against Sekar. Under such circumstances, blanket order of 'not to harass' cannot be passed. The petitioner shall co-operate in the enquiry and during the course of enquiry, she shall not be harassed. However, if any cognizable offence is made out, this order would not be a shield against the arrest of the accused.

With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
