ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the order dated 27.03.2024, passed by this Court in W.P.No.5732 of 2023, thereby directing the respondent to publish the result of the petitioner's written examination and if the petitioner is otherwise eligible for the selection process, the respondent is directed to proceed with the selection process to the post of Lecturer in Government Polytechnic Colleges in non-engineering subject forthwith. 2.

The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents submitted that even according to the petitioner the result has been published long back and the petitioner has secured 157 marks in the written examination. Insofar as the second limb of the direction issued by this Court, the petitioner obtained B.Sc. degree from Calicut University and only after verification, it will be considered.

Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondent, this Contempt Petition is closed. The respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's degree certificate within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
