ORDER

This petition has been filed to call for the records of the 1st respondent in Pa.Ve.A4/168/2016 dated 22.07.2016 and quash the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. The second respondent police registered a case in Cr.No.86 of 2016 and has referred the matter u/s 145 Cr.P.C. to the first respondent, pursuant to which the first respondent has issued summons to the petitioner to appear on 01.08.2016, challenging which the petitioner is before this Court.

4. This Court will not normally interfere in the summons issued by the revenue authorities. Hence, this petition is dismissed with a direction to the petitioners to participate in the enquiry by the first respondent with an Advocate of their choice. The first respondent is directed to complete the entire process within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, provided the petitioners co-operate and there is no other legal impediment.
