ORDER

This petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.8 of 2016 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, Salem City, Salem District insofar as these petitioners are concerned and quash the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State and the learned counsel for the de facto complainant.

3. It is seen that earlier this Court had passed a detailed order in Crl.O.P.No.14268 of 2016 on 08.08.2016 giving certain directions to the respondent police to conduct an unbiased investigation and if it is found that Karthik Kumar, the petitioner is not involved in the offence, action against him should be dropped.

4. In view of the above, no further order needs to be passed in the present petition. The respondent police is directed to conduct investigation in Cr.No.8 of 2016 as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

directed by this Court in the earlier order and shall not harass the petitioner unnecessarily. The petitioner shall also co-operate with the police during investigation. With the above direction, this petition is closed. Consequently connected MP is closed.
