Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to expedite the hearing of the petitioner's complaint dated 05.07.2024 in dairy 5976/CR/2024 on the file of Tamil Nadu State Human Rights Commission and pass appropriate orders within a stipulated time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) Contending that the complaint dated 05.07.2024 in Diary No.5976/CR/2024 filed before the first respondent is not taken on file, the petitioner seeks a direction to the first respondent to expedite the hearing of his complaint.

2. Learned State Government Pleader accepts notice for the first respondent and submits that the complaint of the petitioner in Diary No.5976/CR/2024 is numbered as SHRC No.5743 of 2024 on the file of the first respondent.

3. In view of the fact that the complaint of the petitioner has been numbered as SHRC No.5743 of 2024 on the file of the first respondent, the first respondent shall endeavor to consider and

dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible.

4. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
