This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to quash the proceedings in M.C.52/2011 pending on the file of

XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate at Saidapet, Chennai - 6000015. M.C.52/2011 has been filed under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005.

2. Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner brought to the notice of this Hon'ble Court that the lower Court had dismissed the complaint in M.C.No.52 of 2011 on 17.04.2014, on the ground of non prosecution by the respondent/wife.

3. In view of the dismissal of the complaint before the XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate, nothing survives in this Criminal Original Petition. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
