This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent to register an FIR pursuant to the complaint given by the petitioner dated 29/09/2021.

2.The petitioner had lodged a complaint on 29.09.2021, by post stating that he had made payments to M/s.Rafoll Groups, chaired by one Siva Narendran of Thirumullaivoyil and he had been cheated to a tune of Rs.6,42,700/-. Despite the receipt of the complaint, no action has been taken by the respondent police. 3.The learned Government Advocate [Crl.Side] submits that the said accused Siva Narendran had cheated around 1,200 persons by promising huge returns and collected deposits. A case in Crime No.26 of 2021 dated 20.09.2021 came to be registered for offence under Section 120 B. 420 and 5 of the TNPID Act against https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the said Siva Narendran, on the complaint of one Ravindran. The petitioner's complaint is also similar in nature, since the above said FIR is registered, the petitioner would be added as a witness in that case. In view of the same no specific order is required.

4.Recording the submissions of the learned Government Advocate [Crl Side], this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
