No.149 of 2022 (pending on the file of the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate Court, Madhavaram) on a day-today basis and consequently, complete the trial in C.C. No.149 of 2022 within a stipulated time.

ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed for a direction to the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Madhavaram, to expedite the hearing in C.C. No.149 of 2022 and complete the trial in the said case within a time frame.

2. It is reported that in view of vacancy in the post of the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Madhavaram, there has been some delay in the progress of the case.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that a judicial officer has been posted and the Investigating Officer will take necessary steps to expedite the trial.

Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this criminal original petition is disposed of directing the respondent police to marshall the witnesses on all hearing dates without fail and complete the examination of prosecution side witnesses (totally 8 in number), preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 09.08.2024 cad
