This petition has been filed to call for records and quash the complaint dated 07.11.2014 in C.C.No.3401 of 2014 on the file of the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court IV, George Town, Chennai 1.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. It is seen that the trial in this case had begun and P.W.1 was examined-in-chief as early as 04.05.2015 and was cross examined on 06.01.2016 and 07.03.2016. Thereafter, when the matter was posted for defence witness, the present quash application has been filed.

In view of the petition this petition is dismissed with a direction to the trial Court to complete the trial within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
