ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the trial Court to complete the trial in S.C.No.42 of 2014 on the file of the Fast Track Mahila Court at Nagapattinam at the earliest, preferably within a month.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the prosecution witnesses in S.C.No.42 of 2014 pending on the file of the Fast Track Mahila Court, Nagapattinam, have been examined and the matter is posted on 26.10.2016 for examination of LW-30, LW-31 & LW-32, who are the Investigating Officers of the case.

4. In view of the above, the trial Court is directed to dispose of the case in S.C.No.42 of 2014 on the file, within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
