Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to produce the body and person of the petitioner's wife Anandhi, W/o. Praveen Kumar, aged 22 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to produce the body and person of the petitioner's wife Anandhi, W/o. Praveen Kumar, aged 22 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.

Even according to the petitioner, the alleged detenue is illegally detained by the 5th respondent in Thirunelveli, which falls within the jurisdiction of the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court.

Hence, this habeas corpus petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
