Heard Mr.P.Ganesan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.M.E.Raniselvam, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepting notice for the respondent. With the consent on either side, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition to direct the third respondent to consider his representation made for transfer, dated 13.07.2016, within a time frame. 3.

In this Writ Petition, the petitioner requests transfer from Kothagiri to any other place.

In this regard, representation has been filed before the respondent. 4.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit in short that, while conducting counseling for transfers, the representation made by the petitioner may be directed to be considered.

When Government has prescribed certain procedures for transfer, by conducting counseling giving equal opportunity to all persons, the petitioner has to place his request at the time, when counseling is held. and the respondent, while conducting counseling, may consider the petitioner's representation, dated 13.07.2016 on merits and in accordance with law.

The Writ Petition is disposed of,accordingly. No costs.
