Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to secure the body of the J.Arul abraham, aged about 27 years, S/o Jothi Nayakam and produce him before this Court for the entrustment of the lawful custody to his wife/petitioner herein.

ORDER

[ORDER OF THE COURT WAS MADE BY M.JAICHANDREN, J.] Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents.

2. At this stage of the hearing of the Habeas Corpus Petition, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents had submitted that the detenue viz., Arul Abraham, had been arrested on 04.12.2016 and remanded on the same day, by the learned Judicial Magistrate III, Coimbatore, in connection with the case, in Crime No.782 of 2016, arising under Sections 170, 419, 420, 451, 170, 120(b), 395 of IPC r/w 397 of the Indian Arms Act, 1959. He had further submitted that the detenue has been lodged in the Central Prison, Coimbatore.

3. In view of the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents, no further orders are necessary in the Habeas Corpus Petition. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
