ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st Respondent to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 15.7.2016 and to direct the District Collector to give retrospective effect to the regularization of the Petitioner's service from 22.6.2008 and consequently to fix the time scale of pay for the post of Assistant/Accountant and pay the Petitioner arrears of salary and other benefits arising out of such fixation.

2. This court heard the learned counsel on either side and also perused the materials placed on record.

3. Though the prayer in this Writ Petition is for a larger relief, the learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his argument to the limited extent of directing the 1st Respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the Petitioner dated 22.6.2008, expeditiously. Considering the limited prayer now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the 1st respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 22.6.2008, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.
