..Respondents Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.07.2013 by recognizing Diploma in Tuber Colosis and Chest Disease, the petitioner having passed DTCD Examination held to April 1984 conducted by the Government of Thanjavur Government Medical College affiliated to Bharthidasan University and to enter the said Diploma as Additional Qualification in the petitioner's Registration No.27157 dated 29.11.1975 in the Register maintained by the Tamil Nadu Medical Council. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is 73 year old and he has given instruction to withdraw the Writ Petition, as he is not interested in pursuing this Writ Petition. The learned counsel has also made an endorsement to that effect.
2. In view of the above submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No Costs.
