Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS to call for the records relating to the detention order dated 26.10.2016 made in detention order Memo No.1113/BCDFGISSSV//2016 passed by the 2nd respondent herein and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the body or person of the petitioner's son, Prakash @ Choolai Poonai Prakash, Son of Subramani, aged about 24 years, branded as Goonda and now confined in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, before this Hon'ble court and set him at liberty forth with.

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] Challenge is made to the order of detention passed by the second respondent vide Proceedings in Memo https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

No.1113/BCDFGISSSV/2016 dated 26.10.2016, whereby the detenu, namely Prakash @ Choolai Poonai Prakash, S/o Subramani, aged about 24 years, was ordered to be detained under GOONDA as contemplated Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the son of the petitioner dated 26.10.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. Rt. No.6437 HOME, PROHIBITION & EXCISE (X) DEPARTMENT, dated 22.12.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
