of Courts Act, 1971, praying to punish the respondents herein for wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.25447 of 2012 dated 23.08.2023 For Petitioner : Mr.V.Srimathi For Respondent : Dr.T.Seenivasan Special Government Pleader

ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non-compliance of the order dated 23.08.2023 passed by this Court in W.P.No.25447 of 2012 , thereby directing the respondents to pay interest at the rate of 12% on the belated payment of arrears of salary at Rs.57,753/- from 30.09.2001 to 03.04.2009 to the substituted petitioners. Further directed the respondents to pay the arrears of salary for 270 days including Medical Leave of 75 days, compulsory wait period of 60 days and surrender of Earned Leave of 135 days, together with interest at the rate of 12% per annum to the substituted petitioners, within a period of twelve weeks.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the order dated 23.08.2023 passed by this Court in W.P.No.25447 of 2012 has been complied with.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Contempt Petition is closed.
