..Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider his application dated 29.11.2019 and to issue an approval of the planning permission for construction in respect of the property situated to an extent of 3282 sqft in No.39, 5th Street, Kamaraj Nagar, comprised in Survey No.1/1, situated at Plot No.305, Paleripattu Village, Avadi Taluk and Thiruvallur District and dispose the same within the time stipulated by this court.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the application dated 29.11.2019 for approval of the planning permission for construction in respect of his property in 39, 5th Street Kamaraj Nagar, Avadi Taluk. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. The grievance o the petitioner is that though he has made an application as on 29.11.2019, the respondents have not processed the same and it is still pending.

3. Mr.P.Srinivas, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the third respondent Municipality would submit that they are following the process of entertaining applications only through online and if the petitioner had filed his application through online, they would have processed the same.

4. In view of the said submissions, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to make an online application with relevant requirements within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of such application, the respondent shall process the same and take a decision in the matter of approval of planning permission within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of the application. No costs.
