This Criminal Original Petition has been preferred to quash the criminal proceedings in Cr.No.19 of 2019 dated 05.11.2019, for the alleged offences 1/4
under Sections 417, 376 of I.P.C on the file of the All Women Police Station, Ayanavaram, Kilpauk District, as they are lacking merits and substance.
2. Heard Mr.K.M.Malarmannan, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent submitted that the investigation has been completed; the charge sheet has also been filed and the final report has been filed before the Additional Mahila Court, Egmore.
