ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner/wife has now sought for transfer of IDOP proceedings in IDOP.No.159 of 2024 pending on the file Family Court, Namakkal to the file of the Family Court, Thiruvallur.

3. Learned counsel for the respondent/husband submits that the respondent/husband has no serious objection to the transfer request made by the petitioner/wife. However, the learned counsel states that both the petitioner/wife and the respondent/husband are presently residing in Sholinganallur and therefore, the IDOP proceedings may be transferred to the file of the Family Court, Chennai, which would be convenient for both the parties, even though the transfer is sought for to the file of the Family Court, Thiruvallur.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner also fairly states that the petitioner/wife would have no objection for transfer of the IDOP proceedings being ordered to the file of the Family Court, Chennai. Page No.2 of 4

In the light of the above submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, this Transfer Civil miscellaneous petition stands allowed and the case in IDOP.No.159 of 2024 is withdrawn from the file of the Family Court, Namakkal and the same is transferred to the file of the Family Court, Chennai, to be either taken up by the Principal Family Court, Chennai or assigned/allotted to any of the Additional Family Court, Chennai, taking into account the workload/pendency of cases before the Family Courts, Chennai, at the discretion of the learned Principal Judge, Chennai. No costs, Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
