By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. A perusal of the materials placed before this Court would disclose that the seventh respondent was issued with Standard Residence Certificate by the fourth respondent on 21.06.2013 and in this regard, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 30.03.2016 to the second respondent for cancellation of the Standard Residence Certificate issued to the seventh respondent and it was relocated to the third respondent for conducting enquiry and the third respondent, vide letter dated 04.07.2016, in Na.Ka.No.1185/2016/A3 addressed to the second respondent, has made a positive recommendation.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the father of the seventh respondent was also issued with such a certificate and it was cancelled by the first respondent, vide proceedings dated 06.07.2016, in Na.Ka.No.915/2016/I1 and therefore, there cannot be any impediment on the part of the first respondent to cancel the Standard Residence Certificate issued in favour of the seventh respondent also and prays for appropriate orders.

4. Heard the submissions of Mr.V.S.Ramesh, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4 and Mr.R.Ravi, learned counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 5 and 6.

Though the petitioner prayed for larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner either in this writ petition or in her representation, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 12.07.2016 in accordance with law, after taking note of the letter of the Revenue Tahsildar, Thirukkuvalai dated 04.07.2016 and after putting on notice, the respondents 5 to 7, shall pass orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner as well as to the respondents 5 to 7.
