This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.557 of 2017. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. 3.On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.557 of 2017 on 14.06.2017 under Section 420 IPC. While so, the de facto complainant has filed the present petition with the above prayer.

4.Taking into consideration the nature of allegations in the FIR, this Court directs the respondent/police to complete the investigation in Crime No.557 of 2017, if not already completed, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a charge sheet or a closure report as the case may be, provided there is no any legal impediment.
