JUDGMENT

This second appeal has been filed to set aside the Judgment and Decree dated 25.03.2024 passed in AS No.260 of 2023 on the file of the VII Additional City Civil Court at Chennai confirming the Judgment and Decree dated 24.07.2023 passed in OS No.4728 of 2020 on the file of the XXI Assistant City Civil Court at Chennai.

2. Both side parties along with their respective counsels appeared before

this Court and filed the joint memo of compromise.

3. The appellant handed over the two Demand Drafts dated 19.04.2025 bearing Nos. 865801 & 865800 for a sum of Rs.12,00,000/- to the respondents before this Court. Further, the respondents agreed to withdraw the suit OS No. 6935 of 2023 pending on the file of the II Additional City Civil Court, Chennai, to that effect filed the joint compromise memo. Accordingly, this appeal is disposed of as settled out of Court and terms of the joint compromise memo is the forming part of the judgement. Further, registry is directed to return the Court fee within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Judgement. No Costs.
