ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents, particularly the second respondent to issue patta to the petitioner in respect of the land comprised in Survey No.2/4 measuring an extent of 3104 sq.ft. situated at Doctor Ambedkar Street, Kathirvedu, Puzhal by considering petitioner's representation dated 11.04.2025 within a time limit to be specified by this Court.
3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner 2/6
purchased the subject property vide registered sale deed dated 21.04.1993 in Document No.2594 of 1993 on the file of Sub-Registrar, Ambattur. Ever since the date of purchase, petitioner has been in absolute possession and enjoyment of the subject property. Thereafter, petitioner submitted a representation dated 02.02.2025 before the first and second respondents seeking issuance of patta in respect of the subject property. However, the said representation has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner sent a reminder letter/representation dated 11.04.2025 to the first and second respondents. But no action has been taken so far. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has come before this Court.

At the outset, it was submitted by the learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 and 2 that the petitioner's representation dated 11.04.2025, made by petitioner would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.
5. In view of the same, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, 3/6
there shall be a direction to the second respondent, to consider the representation dated 11.04.2025 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested persons/rival claimants, if any, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of uploading of the web copy without waiting for the receipt of certified copy. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the representation on its own merits and in accordance with law.
6. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
