Respondents Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a a Writ of Mandamus or any other writ or order or direction in the nature of writ directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2016, thereby direct the respondent to provide separate domestic electricity service connection to the petitioner's residential portion, situated at No.435, 7th Street, Sivagami Ammaiyar Colony, Chennai - 600 039, to the petitioner name without getting NOC from the 3rd and 4th respondents.

ORDER

Though the matter has been posted for hearing, the learned counsel for the parties were unnecessarily wasting the Court's time by prolonging their contentions in this case.

2.It appears that there is a property which has got two door numbers. Though, it is a single unit, it has been divided into two portions and it is covered by two sale deeds. The eastern portion of the property is bearing Door No.435 and bearing Plot No.447/A. The western side portion of the property is bearing Door No.435/A and bearing Plot No.447/B is enjoyed by the fourth respondent. 3.The eastern portion of the property bearing Plot No.447/A and otherwise called as Door No.435 is occupied by the petitioner along with her mother namely, the third respondent. The corresponding service connection number 01019009177 stands in the name of the petitioner's father. The respondents 3 and 4 have got no objection in converting the said connection in the name of the petitioner. Accordingly, the respondent electricity board is directed to transfer the connection

No.01019009177 in the name of the petitioner. 4.The western side portion of the property bearing Plot No.447/B which is otherwise called as Door No.435/A has got service connection number 010190092475 which stands in the name of the petitioner's father and the same is enjoyed by the third and fourth respondent. The petitioner has got no objection to change the connection in the name of the fourth respondent. Accordingly, the respondent Electricity Board is directed to transfer the aforesaid connection number 010190092475 in the name of the fourth respondent. It is made clear that there is no necessity for giving a new connection or extend the connection by the electricity board.

5.For wasting the Court's time, the petitioner and the fourth respondent have to pay a sum of Rs.2,500/- each, to the Chief Justice Relief Fund within a period of two weeks.
