ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to deal with the representation made by the petitioner, wherein the petitioner is seeking for extension of the lease period for the fishery rights of Chinnar Reservoir in Dharmapuri District as per Clause 33 of the lease agreement dated 01.07.2020.

2. Heard Mr.P.M.Jayachandran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Alagu Gowtham, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents produced the written 2/5

instructions received from the fourth respondent. On going through the same, it is seen that the fourth respondent has already taken a decision on the representation made by the petitioner on 03.06.2025.

4. In view of the said development, there shall be a direction to the fourth respondent to convey the decision to the petitioner within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
