This petition is filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, to condone the delay of 221 days in filing the Criminal Appeal against the judgment dated 13.10.2022 in Special Calendar Case No.23/2018 passed by the learned learned Sessions Judge, Magalir Neethimandram, (FTMC), Udhagamandalam at Nilgiris.
2. Mr.S.Sugendran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice of the respondent and he did not raise any serious objection and this Court is satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition. Hence, the petition is allowed.
