PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to provide a certified copy of the orders passed under Section 47A (3) pursuant to the "FormI" notice, determining the deficit stamp duty to the tune of Rs.6,39,689/- on the Gift Deed dated 06.12.2017 executed in favour of the petitioner, and registered as Document No.2906 of 2017, on the file of SRO, Shollingur. By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 1/4

The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to provide a certified copy of the orders passed under Section 47A (3) pursuant to the "Form-I" notice, determining the deficit stamp duty to the tune of Rs.6,39,689/- on the Gift Deed dated 06.12.2017 executed in favour of the petitioner, and registered as Document No.2906 of 2017, on the file of SRO, Shollingur.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for petitioner that a request was made on 15.03.2025 to furnish a copy of the order passed under Section 47A(3) of the Registration Act, 1908 (16 of 1908) in order to enable the petitioner to redress his grievance in accordance with law. 4.When this was pointed out, Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader for respondent submitted that certified copy of the order made under Section 47A(3) of the Registration Act, 1908 (16 of 1908), would be furnished to the petitioner.

5. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent to furnish a certified copy of the order issued under Section 2/4

47A(3) of the Registration Act, 1908 (16 of 1908), to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for receipt of certified copy. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
