ORDER

By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The present writ petition is filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to provide a certified copy of the orders passed under section 47A(3) pursuant to Form-I notice determining the deficit stamp duty to the tune of Rs.14,65,600 /-on the gift Deed dated 06.12.2017 executed in favour of the petitioner and registered as Doc.No.2905 of 2017 on the file of SRO Shollingur.

Learned Government Advocate for the respondent would submit that certified copy of the order dated 06.12.2017 passed under Section 47A(3) will be issued to the petitioner, within a period of one week from the date of uploading of the web copy without waiting for the receipt of certified copy. He would only submit that the limitation for any purposes under the Act ought to be reckoned from the date of the actual service of the order and not the receipt of the certified copy of the order, pursuant to the directions of this Court. 2/4

4. This Court is not inclined to examine the above question as to how the limitation ought to be rekoned, while leaving it open to the appropriate authorities to decide the same as and when such question is raised/arises.

5. Recording the statement made by the learned Government Advocate, the writ petition stands closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
