This Application has been filed under Sections 7 and 86 of Presidency Town Insolvency Act, 1909 to set aside the order dated 29.09.2023 passed by the Official Assignee rejecting claim petition No. 115 of 2015 in I.P.No. 25 of 2014 for a sum of Rs.3,25,000/- in the order of the Official Assignee.

2. It had been stated that no documentary evidence had been produced to prove consideration for the promissory notes under which the applicant has laid the claim.

vsg she received income from widow pension and rent and interest but even the income tax returns were for the years 2014-2015 while the promissory notes are for the years 2012-2013.

4. We hold that the Official Assignee had appreciated the documents in proper perspective and had rightly rejected the claim for want of proof.

5. This Application stands dismissed.
