This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.380 of 2017 on the file of the respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-State.

3. Taking into consideration, the nature of the allegations in the FIR and the fact that the FIR was registered on 26.12.2017, this Court directs the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.380 of 2017 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, under due intimation to the de facto complainant, provided, there is no any other legal impediment.
