O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent herein viz., the Inspector of Police, Chinnasalem, Villupuram District to conduct enquiry in complaint dated 27.06.2018 and provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents-State.

3. It is seen that the petitioner has given a complaint on 27.06.2018 to the respondents and thereafter, filed the present petition with the above prayer. In view of the order passed by this Court in Sugesan Transport Pvt. Ltd., -Vs- The Assistant Commissioner of Police, J2, Adyar Police Station, Adyar, Chennai-600 020 and another [2016 (5) CTC 577 : 2016-2-LW (Crl.) 499], this petition is not maintainable.

4. Hence, this petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner set out in Sugesan (supra).
