ORDER

M.S.RAMESH, J.

AND V.LAKSHMINARAYANAN When the petitioner's minor daughter, aged about 16 years, had gone missing, she had given a complaint on 02.05.2025 before the second respondent Police. The petitioner has also given a complaint dated 23.05.2025 to the first respondent/Commissioner. Since her complaint with the police to trace her minor daughter was not effective, she has filed the present Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. Today, the respondent/police have produced the petitioner's minor daughter before us. Initially, when her daughter had certain hesitations of going back to her parents' house, this Court thought that it is a fit case for mediation. Accordingly, this Court referred the minor daughter and her parents to the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre attached to this Court for mediation. The matter was then passed over and thereafter called back post lunch.

3. It is now represented by both the parties that the petitioner's minor daughter had decided to reconcile with her parents and stay under the care and protection of her parents. We inter acted with the parents of the minor girl also, who confirmed that they are willing to take care of their daughter.

4. Since the petitioner's grievance has been redressed, no further orders are required to be passed in this case. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed. No costs.
