Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 5th respondent to cancel the sub division proceedings in respect of Survey No.180, Kaattur Revenue Village, Thiruporur Taluk, Chengalpattu District with respect to the petitioner's representation dated 24.01.2020 by providing sufficient opportunity to the interested parties within a specific time frame in accordance with law.

ORDER
This petition is filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the 5th respondent to cancel the sub division proceedings in respect of Survey No.180, Kaattur Revenue Village, Thiruporur Taluk, Chengalpattu District pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 24.01.2020.
2.Heard both sides.
3.Mr.G.Peranban, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has moved the fourth respondent/RDO for cancellation of patta. The said patta was issued in the name of certain strangers during the pendency of the suit in O.S.No.29 of 2014 which is now pending on the file of Principal District Judge, Chengalpattu.
4.Ms.Rahena Begum, learned Government Advocate, who took notice on behalf of the respondents 2 to 7, made a statement on instructions, that an enquiry is scheduled to be taken place by the RDO/fourth respondent at 3.00 p.m., on 27.01.2021.
5. The said statement of the learned Government Advocate is recorded.
6.Since the enquiry is already fixed, no further direction is required to be made except that the fifth respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision and after providing the parties a fair and effective hearing, to dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of twelve(12) weeks from the date of
receipt of a copy of this order.
7.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
