Petitioner's transfer/posting is concerned and the consequential order issued in No.P.VII-15(B)/2024-CDA/14-(894652) dated 08.04.2024 and quash the same and direct the respondents 1 and 2 to retain him in the present station, namely, 105 RAF Battalion, Coimbatore till the completion of his normal tenure of 3 years in accordance with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Standing Order No.04/2022 dated 27.09.2022.

ORDER

When the matter is taken up today for hearing, the learned Central Government Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the petitioner has joined in the transferred place on 31.08.2024 and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition. However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner may be given liberty to give a representation.

2. Recording the submissions made by the learned Central Government Standing Counsel and the learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ petition is closed. However, the petitioner is given liberty to give a representation to the respondents for transfer within a period of fifteen (15) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If such 2/4

representation is received by the respondents, the respondents are directed to consider the same and pass order according to its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks thereafter.
