O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.259 of 2013 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, Team-II, Egmore, Chennai.

2. Today, Mr.T.Pitchi, Sub-Inspector, CCB, Chennai, is present before this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-State.

4. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the investigation in Crime No.259 of 2013 has been completed and the charge sheet is ready. However, the FIR and other related documents are on the file of the III Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Chennai, and they have to be https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

transferred to the Special Court for CCB and CBCID Cases, Allikulam, Egmore, Chennai.

5. In view of the above, this Court directs the III Metropolitan Magistrate, G.T. Chennai, to transfer the entire case records in Crime No.259 of 2013 to the Special Court for CCB and CBCID Cases, Allikulam, Egmore, Chennai, within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, six months time is given to the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.259 of 2013 and either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, under due intimation to the de facto complainant, provided, there is no any other legal impediment.
