Prayer:Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus to call for the records of the first respondent in I.A.No.8/03 in I.D.No.18 of 2002 and quash its order dated 6.10.2003 and direct the first respondent to decide the fairness of the settlement dated 5.11.2001 in the first instance before taking up the dispute in I.D.No.18 of 2002 on merits.

The writ petition challenges the order dated 06.10.2003, declining to frame a preliminary issue on the maintainability of the reference made before the Labour Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Since there was no interim order, the Labour Court proceeded further and it is reported by both sides that ultimately the matter has been settled between the parties and a consent award dated 27.01.2005 has been passed in I.D.No.18/2002 and copy of the same has been produced. Since nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition, the same is disposed accordingly. No costs.
