ORDER

The petitioner is called absent. Ms.Keerthana Shenoi, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr.L.Jai Venkatesh, learned Standing Counsel draws attention to an order passed in a case filed by this petitioner, in W.P.No.256 of 2021 dated 02.02.2024.

2. In that writ petition, the petitioner had challenged a demand made in respect of service connection bearing LT SC.No.246-260-191, in identical circumstances as the present matter, pending in this matter, except that the service connection in the present case bearing number LT SC.No.246-260-277.

3. The petitioner was relegated to alternate remedy, that is, to appear before the Consumer Redressal Grievance Forum for the purpose of adjudication of issues. There is a finding in that order is that the demand had been made on the identification of the fact that the electricity meter in the premises was not functioning during the period 2018 similar to the factual matrix in the present case.

4. Thus, and in view of the identity of matters, the petitioner is granted liberty to approach Consumer Redressal Grievance Forum (Forum) within a period of two (2) weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receipt of the appeal, if any, the Forum shall 2/4

adjudicate upon the matter on merits and in accordance with law.

5. This writ petition is disposed in the above terms. No costs. Connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
